Cost & Format

  • Tournament Format – 2-rounds of individual stroke play. This is a 2-round tournament at 100% handicap, played over two weeks and will run in conjunction with the SGC regular play-day schedule. Players can play their tournament rounds on either Wednesday or Saturday. However, players must play round one the first week and round two the second week.

This Tournament is funded by the club. All qualified members are welcome to play and there will be no entry fee. There will be A & B flights in both Gross and Net categories. The tournament will consist of two rounds of stroke play.

All Tournaments will be governed by USGA Rules. Ties will be settled using the USGA recommendation for settling ties.

  • Players not meeting this 12 month requirement will be eligible to play (space available) but will not be eligible for tournament prizes.
  • New members will follow the guidelines above but will need only (6) club plays to be eligible to play in a major tournament.
