Tournament Schedule

• Wednesday, March 5 & Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Silverbell GC.
• Signups begin on TMS February 9, 2025

Space is limited. There will be 12 tee times (48 players) for the Wednesday rounds and 10 tee times (40 players) for Saturday play. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Sign up to play via SGC TMS. Both players on a team must sign up. Note your partner in the "comments" field when signing up.

Cost & Format

• Cost – $20/player for tournament and $10/player for regular play day
• Format – One round, 2-person team event. Select your own partner or we will pair you up randomly. The round will be a 2-person net best ball, at 90% of handicap. Course handicaps will be calculated on the players USGA index before each round.

All teams MUST exchange scorecards with the other team and score hole by hole gross scores for the other twosome. If you're paired with others not involved with the tournament you should still have them score your card for you. Penalty for violation: DQ. (If it is not possible to have the other players in your foursome score your card for you please let the TD know immediately)

Winning team will be team from either Play-Day with the lowest net score. At least 1/4 of the field will get paid.

All Tournaments will be governed by USGA Rules

In the event of ties for first place, first place winners will determined using the USGA Tie Breaker recommendations.

Major Tournament Eligibility & Field Size Limitations:

• In addition to the weekly games held by the SGC for members, several major tournaments are held each year. These Tournaments are intended for regular club members, and required by the AGA to maintain the Club's "TYPE" designation.
• The TD will determine tournament eligibility priority based on a minimum of 10 plays with the Club over a 12 month period.
• Players not meeting this 12 month requirement will be eligible to play (space available) but will not be eligible for tournament prizes. New members will follow the guidelines above but will need only 6 club plays to be eligible to play in a major tournament.
